For me the biggest must (a dealbreaker) is that the stock option MUST be able to handle stock levels for combinations of product options
For this to work a stock list should be generated in the Product item/article with the total combinations of Product options. eg. T-shirt: size (S-XL) x Color (Blue, White) >>
S Blue [Stock]
M Blue [Stock]
L Blue [Stock]
XL Blue [Stock]
S White [Stock]
M White [Stock]
L White [Stock]
XL White [Stock]
It would be great if Product Options had:
- a check box with [Alternative images] Y/N, where if set to YES it is possible to upload a set of images for each option eg. each color
- a check box with [Stock] Y/N, so that it is possible to create product options that does not have stock eg. Buy add-on, Special Packaging, etc.

I agree! Please add this, otherwise a shop page will have a dozen of the same item displayed just to it can handle inventory.

Hi all,
Just by way of update... Josh and I spoke again about this yesterday and we're now formulating a solid plan to develop an overhaul of the Product Options system. We're hoping to emulate how Shopify works by allowing individual stock and price combinations for each option.
This is now in active development now that 1.1.0 has been released.
I will keep the community updated as we go along.

I really think you should study the J2Store advanced variants feature and go all the way for this feature because it is so essential when it comes to shop practice

I’m happy to report that we now have a clear plan for advanced variants and 50% of the code development has now been completed.
I will be publishing a blog about the new system tomorrow - you will find it in the News and Blog section. The blog will detail the new system (including a preview video!) and it will detail how we plan to transition to the new system over the next few months.
We’re too early in Pro2Store’s lifespan to introduce backwards compatibility breaks so we have a really cool plan that will mean no ones site will break.
