Hello,

Please is there a way to display a warning on the cart page when cart is empty.

Something like:
"Your cart is currently empty."

And add a button:
"Return to shop"

Of course, these pieces of info would be translatable ;)

Best regards
Philippe

I'm in the same mood. I test the component a lot and I think it's great. Finally a modern shop system for Joomla! and combined with Yootheme, it's super comfortable to use.
As for me, I'm working directly online (it's bad, I know) on a project for a photo sales site (philippemarty.com). As I have relatively few complex needs for the shop, the essential functions are already there.But I'm still not completely convinced by the address management and the display of information in the shopping cart. And then there are still a number of channels to add in the language file.
When it's stable enough for me, I'll buy the credit card payment component and then I'll add the actual products to the sale!

I don't use Pro2Store on any production site yet, I have only done testing on a private server. I will be glad to share links once I open the first store. When that will happen? I don't know yet. I still waiting for some key functionalities I want to see before starting to use Pro2Store. But I am very excited about this component so I am doing extensive testing all the time with it and try to be very active here on the forum.

The Offline pay element doesn't have them. I have used a regular Button element on the Cart page to move the shopper to the Checkout page. If you plan to have everything on one page (Cart+Checkout), the dynamic rules won't help, unfortunately.

Eero Your approach is clever!
I am interested in seeing your integration of the cart. Would it be possible to know the url of the site on which you use pro2store?

BUT since that "Offline pay" button is disabled until all needed data has been filled on the form, you can add the following in the CSS field of the element to hide the button until all fields have been filled:

.uk-button:disabled {
display: none;
}

I don't consider this as a very user-friendly way because at least a disabled button (visible) tells them that they are still missing something before they can click it. But yeah... if you want to hide it, this is one way.

Thanks for your answer :)

It's ok for the "empty cart field", I hadn't seen it before!
The problem is that this field is not Ajax driven. On the cart page, when you empty the cart, the "empty cart message" doesn't appear if there is nothing left in the cart.

However, I can't configure the dynamic rule for the buttons. At what level are these rules accessed?
I can't find these settings, neither in the "layout" tab, nor in the "advanced" tab of the "Offline Pay" button.

Philippe Marty,

In the settings of the "Cart items" element you find a field called "TEXT TO SHOW ON EMPTY CART". There you can write any text you want.

For the checkout button (Button element) there is a dynamic rule "Products in cart" which you can choose and then make the checkout button appear only if product title is not empty - meaning, there are products in cart. Using the same dynamic content visibility rule you can create your "Return to shop" button if you want.

However, there are no similar ways to hide "Cart summary" and "Coupon field" elements. The same dynamic rule option could be added to them too, that would be great!
