Hi Elysen,
As a lot of Joomla components, you have to copy language files and translate the constants into your needed language.
For German, use your FTP client to copy
/administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_protostore.ini
and
/administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_protostore.sys.ini
respectively to
/administrator/language/de-DE/de-DE.com_protostore.ini
and
/administrator/language/de-DE/de-DE.com_protostore.sys.ini
And then use your favorite text editor to translate the constant in the file de-de* files.
I have done the same for French, and I have shared here the files for the community.

well,.. let's go back to english... there is no german translation available on github.. the files do not exist yet.
So, if anybody could check that out and provide them on github, it would be helpful for all Germans
