It would be great to restrict the number of products a customer can order - and to do this for each product individually.

For example, if my store is selling toilet paper. All of a sudden, a covid-19 lockdown kicks in, and everyone in the city wants to hoard toilet paper. So now I want to limit the number of toilet paper bags to two bags per each customer.

In the product's settings, I set "limit maximum order number to 2" and now every customer can buy only two bags of toilet paper and now there is enough stock for everyone.

But at the same time, I don't want this to be a global restriction, I need it per-product basis (in this example only for the toilet paper). Other products can be bought without limits.

Get the idea? Good. Thank youuuuu!

And while you're at it, why not put a minimum order amount as an option too. ;)

This is a great idea and I don't think we ever thought of that before!
Thanks for adding this idea.
