Hi, when the Internet user buys a product online: the merchant must manually send the thank you emails, order validation + order shipping. Is it possible to automatically send these emails?

HI,

Docs coming this week on this...

But in the meantime, you can set up "admin email notification" like this:


Go the email manager, and create a new email. Set the "Email Type" to "Created".

Now in the "To" field... put the admin email addresses you wish to receive the email. Be careful! Leaving the "To" field blank will send the email to the customer.

Yep, thanks Ray, I've done these admin mails setup.
But in fact, no notification mail is sent from the store, even though the Joomla system messages work well (so it's not my Joomla mail configuration that is at issue).
Where can be the problem?

Thank you for these feedbacks.

For my part :

- the Confirmation email is sent automatically. So this is perfect.
- the Thank you email must be sent manually. (Is it possible to send it automatically ?).
- the Shipped email must be sent manually (the order tracking code must be entered by hand). On this point, it ties in with another of my questions: I would like to link the Boxtal API. Is it compatible with your solution to make sure that shipping emails are sent automatically?

My very first customer emailed to request his confirmation email which was not sent as I did not change the status from Pending to Complete.

I am trying to get my head around the emails that need to be automatically generated upon a sale. I am using your Stripe plugin (which all works fine) but having to manually click through the different order statuses to trigger emails is a real pain. My customers simply need 1 email which is automatically sent out as soon as they have paid, and this email should contain their order details and a thank you message. For some reason this isn't working. I even unpublished the all emails except for the Pending email, changed the body text on this to include order number etc, but even this isn't being received by customers.

Is there a way to bypass all of this? As soon as payment is made, can the order automatically be set as complete and paid, which would then trigger the correct email to be automatically sent?

Hi Ray, I've done all these steps for receive admin mails.
But the notification (Created) mail is NOT sent from the PRO2store,
all the other (Pending, Shipped, etc, etc) work fine.

I tested the Joomla system messages and all work well.

Have u a useful hint?
