Resolved Tag navigations is not working correct

Miranda Versteeg can you please show some screenshots on what's missing and what you're expecting to happen so I can help? Is it a Pro2Store issue you're having or a Joomla/YOOtheme Pro layout issue maybe?

Hi Josh,

When you navigate to: https://www.ateliernegen.nl/bundels
You see in the white part (just eight; don't know why just eight...; that's an other question.. ) several products.
I only see two tags.
When you click beneath the products on pagenumber three then you see more tags.

Hope this explanation clears my problem.

Hi Josh,

In the meantime I'm adding products and working on my site.
I figured out that the reason of not showing all items was because of setting of the menu-item.
Right now I set the blogvisibilty on 100; now I see all the articles...

Miranda Versteeg That's great you figured it out. Yeah it's a Joomla/YTP setting that works together. I too have ran into this issue.
Please let me us know if you need anything else.

In case that I have 1.000 products and I have 4-5 of them with the tag "tagX" and those are in the end of my list, I have to display 1.000 products so the filter tagX can appear?
Maybe it's better to find another way for the subcategories to display?

It depends on the total of articles you want to see; that will cause the number you need to set in Joomla.
The tag option in yootheme has also an option to see all items in the category; you'll need to set the number in Joomla on or over the maximum of all articles in the category to be abble to see all items..

I also tried to solve this with subcategories. But than you'll need to make several menu's and let them appear on the different pages.
The tag option is build in in Yootheme, so this was a more easier way to do.

If you have a shop with 50-100 items for sale per category the tag solution works fine.
But what happen if you have more than 500 items per category. You have to load all the articles each time.
And this leads to delays to page loads (this is bad for Google's Pagespeed), to reach the limit of bandwidhts, e.t.c.

I'm thinking a little ahead. What will happen when I will have an eshop with such an amount of items?

It's good thinking (a little) ahead. ;-) I think that over 100 items per category should work, also with the preload! You just need to keep your images minimized. I'm working on my new shop right now and I have some categories who will have over 100 items. it works fine on several devices. If you have so much articles in one category; over 500, I think you'll have to split up in a logical way to help your customer will not be lost in your webshop.
